Inspired by the titular College football team, the Nike Air Max 97 UCLA Undefeated Bruins is a collaboration between the Beaverton brand and Los Angeles-based streetwear brand Undefeated. Coming in an ultra-clean sail colourway akin to the colours of the Pac-12 team, Christian Tresser’s 1997 silhouette is crafted from shiny patent leather with a pale yellow and blue stripe that runs through the middle of the shoes wavy panelled upper, containing the iconic and unmistakable Undefeated branding for a premium finish. Additionally, all the usually observed AM97 design monikers remain, including the embellished mini-swoosh and Nike branding on the heel and tongue. All of which sit atop a full-length visible Air unit, a staple of the company’s ongoing commitment to comfort and stability.
